Madong Mini Hydro Power Plant is Kencana Energy's third hydropower plant, built and operated by a subsidiary, namely PT Nagata Dinamika Hidro Madong (NDHM).
Located in North Toraja Regency, South Sulawesi, Madong Mini Hydro Power Plant operates with Run of River concept, utilizing the flow of Maiting river, with a catchment area of 185.5 km2 and annual rainfall of 2,650 millimeters.
Madong Mini Hydro Power Plant has a capacity of 10 MW.
Based on the Electricity Sales and Purchase Agreement signed by NDHM with PLN, Madong Mini Hydro Power Plant was built and operated under the Build Own Operate (BOO) scheme for 20 years, commencing after Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 25 March 2022.
